Mikuru&#8217;s boobs will never be safe from the malicious designs of Suzumiya Haruhi, the single most evil teenaged Japanese girl in history!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In this episode, Suzumiya Haruhi begins to accumulate items for the club room. The one thing that they lack is a computer and internet access, so she results to good old fashioned extortion. Then she begins to advertise the SOS Brigade in a bunny suit.<br \/>\nAt the end of it all, Nagato takes Kyon aside to tell him their <u>terrible secret<\/U>.<\/p>\n<p>I can not begin to know how literally I am supposed to be taking this show. Are Nagato and Suzumiya Haruhi as Nagato says they are? Is everyone just weird? Why do these people stay around? Will Mikuru make it through her adolescence without being scarred for life?<\/p>\n<p>The answer to that last question is a resounding yes, but no clues as to the rest. It certainly is strange to watch anime involving forced sexual harrassment on a train, though, I&#8217;ll tell you that. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m going to be completely honest and say that I&#8217;m not yet sure what to make of <i>The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi<\/I>. I&#8217;m concerned for the collateral damage that she causes among her club members on one hand, but on the other hand I&#8217;m convinced that Mikuru deserves whatever she gets on the strength of her voice alone.<br \/>\nNext episode is &#8220;The Boredom of Suzumiya Haruhi&#8221;, which indicates that the first novel has been covered in these two episodes.
