It awakens in me the primal hollerer, in a fashion akin to that of <i>Black Lagoon<\/i>. My hollers are directed not just at the ingenuity of the situations but also at the sheer, unbridled, unrealistic adventure on display.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Mister and company try to escape to the Graceland gate, but Madame Marciano stands in the way. Explosions ensue!<\/p>\n<p>So we can tell very easily that, for precision instruments, the sisters aren&#8217;t very good. This is because Mister and Franca are invincible dynamite. Maybe they will have a chance if they fight Swamp (he is not in the OP, after all), but as it stands they&#8217;ve got no hope in the world. Their suckitude is counterbalanced by the fact that you can explode off one of their arms and they won&#8217;t even notice. That takes a modicum of talent, I&#8217;ll give them that.<\/p>\n<p>The benefit of this episode is that Franca has affected a major attitude change from her previous appearances, suddenly being both extremely glad to be alive and also quite affectionate towards her crew mates. Due to this new, adventurous Franca (justifiable by aforementioned mortality), we have the single best escape ever seen in anime: she straps herself into a seat on Marciano&#8217;s ship and ejects herself to freedom.<br \/>\nYes! Ejector seats with parachutes <i>on a spaceship<\/i>! They were in an atmosphere at the time, but the ejector seat is awesome for its sheer ignorance of work safety regulations. Whoever designed Marciano&#8217;s ship is totally going to be the architect of my next house.<\/p>\n<p>Does it really need to be said that <I>Coyote Ragtime Show<\/I> is massive fun? There&#8217;s nothing explicitly wrong with it, so I&#8217;ve no qualms embracing what is oh so very <i>right<\/i>.
